I had a Canon XL2 that was busted. Canon wanted $500 just to look at it!!!! Tried to fix it on my own and screwed it up.CamcorderRepair.com was one of the only places I found that would work on it.
They fixed it quickly, but when I got I tested it, the switch to change from 4:3 to 16:9 wouldn't work. They looked at it again. Turns out, when I put the camera back together, I put the switch in wrong. My bad
They didn't even charge me for my mistake.

I am very impressed. I had a problem with my Sony HDR-HC7 Camcorder. I called Sony and they wanted to charge me $511.00 flat rate to repair my camcorder. I need the camcorder to play my old tapes so I shopped around to buy a new camcorder but none of them take tape anymore. I found the CamcorderRepair.com website online. They gave me a $228.00 flat rate to repair my camcorder so I decided to try them. They repaired my camcorder in 3 days.

CamcorderRepair.com is a great place to get prosumer camera parts. I can't speak to getting repairs done at this shop. I needed a lens repair on an HVX200. Panasonic and all the authorized parts distributors only sell the whole lens...for $850 plus labor to install. CamcorderRepair.com had separate parts of the lens available for sale in their warehouse, at a fraction of the cost. Going through this place to get a part that no one else had saved me hundreds of dollars on the repair.

You'll be glad you went here! My canon camera's lens was damaged and thought to myself damn it'll never be the same. But thanks to camcorder repair shop, it works just like new if not better. Fair prices, totally worth it. Had my camera ready in 2 days!

Exceptional service and high quality repair. I use video cameras in my work. They repaired my video camera at a fair price. They did such a good job, I brought them one more to repair. When I had to buy additional cameras for coworkers, I needed to receive the camera for the same day. They were not able to get it for me so quickly, but spent a lot of time talking to me, finding out how I used the camera and telling me the best camera to buy for the work I did. They did this, even though it did not benefit their company. I have been extremely happy with the cameras they repaired, and the new ones they recommended. You cannot get this kind of support and skill at the big electronic stores. They will get all of my future business
I had my Canon XH-A1 repaired here recently. They replaced my fire wire port within 4 days and they have fair prices. I would recommend this service station!
My Sony camera mysteriously shut off and wouldn't turn back on. I had no idea what was wrong with it. I took to Camcorderrepair.com shop and they figured out the problem and had it up and running again in less than a day. The price was great too. Highly recommended.

I had a broken Canon XL1 camcorder . I was about to ship it to Canon repair knowing that it would cost around $500, but then Canon told me two years past of their obsolete list so i had to get a third party to fix it.
I was searching online to find camcorder repair shop, I found Camcorder repair dot com and I did request the estimate online, They estimated $248.00 parts and labor included. I shipped my camcorder to them, I got it back in one week and now is working better than ever.it could not have been any better.
If you're shopping around places to get your camcorder stuff fixed i would definitely at least go to CamcorderRepair.com, first just to save on the paid estimates other people might charge for.
We have only gone here for repairs of our DSLR. They were honest and totally down to earth. They could have screwed us but they didn't. That shows a lot about a company. I would recommend this place HANDS DOWN

I was so skeptical when I sent my camcorder to CamcorderRepair.com, I found them on Google so I had no idea what to expect. I called other places they told me it would take at least 6 weeks to repair.but with Camcorder repair .com I had my camcorder back in my possession in about a 7 business days . Not to mention it looked perfectly brand new. The staff at this company were very professional and responsive with any concern that I had...They're totally the best in electronic repair shops.
